Welcome to our family’s blog!! Our Dad, Wes, started jokingly referring to us as Breuer Nation after the birth of our 4th child and the name stuck! My name is Jessica… I’m the mom of the Nation! We have seven kiddos ranging from toddler to teen. Our family belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – yes that means we are Mormons! Our family’s mission statement embraces an array of values including faith, family, leadership, education, service, empathy, joy, and living on purpose. It was upon really embracing this mission statement five years ago that I decided to put my own doctoral pursuits, academic awards, and nationally presented research on hold to pursue a full-time career in mothering! With a deeply rooted belief in the power of encouragement and community, I hope this blog inspires you to live on purpose thus allowing light and joy to flood even the seemingly darkest of paths on this journey we call life!
